I deviated from my traditional Christmas Eve viewing to spend the last ten minutes sobbing in public instead of private this year, courtesy of an IFC Center screening with an introduction from Donna Reed’s daughter, Mary Owen.
I have little to add this time except my gratitude for the opportunity to see another favorite on the big screen, laughing and crying with a group of strangers (and my dad!) and sharing the eternal timelessness of It’s a Wonderful Life and its life-affirming spirit.
