but i’ve become increasingly convinced that Mary would be better off without George. in fact i think george kept her illiterate. She has glasses when he doesn’t exist but never once wears them when he does? why? she doesn’t know she needs them because she has to spend all her time pumping out bailey babies instead of developing a love for literature. Even as kids he discouraged her curious spirit by gatekeeping the national geographic
so is george’s existence really best for everyone?
and what about the trees? george is a menace to the local greenery
