I’ll freely admit I love this film. It’s dumb, hilarious, silly, and just a ton of fun from beginning to end. I watched when I really needed some light hearted stupidity and this worked again perfectly.
Visually it’s pretty good. The music is pretty damn great.
Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe have amazing chemistry and make this film way better because of it. Also shoutout Angourie Rice, she is also awesome in this and makes her character enjoyable.
I just love this film, don’t care about anything else. It was a ton of fun overall. It was even better getting to watch it with Mim.
I highly recommend it to everyone. If dumb, silly films aren’t your thing I guess maybe it’s not for you, but in the right mood it’s brilliant. In general though, I always think it’s brilliant. Love this film.
