Shane Black doing, essentially, what Shane Black does best. I saw this once in theatres and had a pretty good time with it, following a duo of pretty bummed out cop and detective characters with a good vibe and mood to it, good music, and overall a pretty fun experience to be said for it. I definitely didn't dislike it and it felt like the kind of Buddy Cop movies that Black made his career on and didn't feel like dating himself! Eeeyy that's nice, eh?
