Honestly pretty solid.
Usually when I watch Beetlejuice, I'm sitting there waiting for the show to get on the road. I love it but the original takes AGES to get going. So I was impressed with the the consistency in tone and the overall vibe was just action packed fun. It made me laugh, which is a low bar to pass tbh, but doesn't happen often in the new releases I see.
Will I probably rate this lower on a rewatch (if I even bother to see this again in the future)? Probably.
But a time was had nonetheless 😌
