Not the best animated film I've seen in 2024, but third place behind Mars Express and Inside Out 2 is nothing to be ashamed of.

I had a really good time with The Wild Robot. It got some legit tears outta me and the unexpected dark humor some genuine laughs.

And while the animation isn't on the same level of Spider-verse, TMNT Mutant Mayhem or Puss in Boots the Last Wish, it's a helluva sight better than the uninspired, outdated visuals of the just released Transformers One (here's hoping this finds the audience Transformers couldn't) and Kung Fu Panda 4 from earlier this year.
