Difficult to review. I think this is a very good gateway horror. There's a lot to like here. A teen girl (Sam) from India trying her best to fit in to her high school life. The scenes with her parents were my favorite and not horror related (not totally true). Megan Suri as Sam was sympathetic as the conflicted teen.
The monster attack scenes were way too long. The powers of the monster were confusing. In fact, the whole mythos around the beast was haphazard.
It's is a good horror starter film, but I've seen too many for it to be effective at all.

I needed to take a Silkwood-style shower to get the sleeze off me. A 15 year old girl is hanging in an attic nude. Suicide? That movie would be super quick. It's MURDER!
Watched this one because the "Giallo Ciao Ciao" podcast is close to reviewing this film. This isn't a traditional Giallo but has many of the trappings. The killer decked out in leather motorcycle garb and of coarse helmet to hide his identity (Oh and a bloody butchers…

Punks play a nazi owned gig. See something they shouldn't have. Now they are locked in the backstage green room.
Didn't want to pick up my phone or fast forward,once. A fantastic siege film.
