I have been on a weight loss journey since February of this year, starting at 261lbs, and today, I finally managed to be around 200lbs.
And I couldn't be any more proud at myself.
They say that when you lose weight, your mental health tends to be a bit better, and while I wasn't severely depressed before, I noticed that I have been a bit more talkative and happier than before lately. Granted, I still have moments where I still feel a bit shy, but it's not as prominent as it was before.
Plus, and I'm not usually the bragging type, but I look good. Like...... DAMN good! I wasn't too overweight or anything. Even in my "chubby" days, I knew better to not go to McDonald's every day. However, I love how my body looks so much now, I don't miss fast food at all.
What if...?
I could ditch my Letterboxd gig
And get a job as a real-life Magic Mike?

Meme aside, I really am happy with my weight loss. The only downside is that I should have done so a long time ago. But, hey, better now than never.
