I love horror films that focus on people's psyches. The Witch is showing what happens when certain things are missing.
For example:
- Food (maybe also clean water)
- Sleep
- Social live
- A loving environment/family
- And maybe education about something else than religious fanaticism
My interpretation: Nothing supernatural is happening but our mind is capable to convince us otherwise.

Ich liebe Horrorfilme, die den Fokus auf die Psyche legen. The Witch zeigt, was passiert, wenn gewisse Dinge fehlen.
Zum Beispiel:
- Nahrung (vielleicht auch sauberes Trinkwasser)
- Schlaf
- Soziales Leben
- Ein liebendes Umfeld/eine liebende Familie
- Und vielleicht auch eine Bildung, die zu etwas anderem als religiösen Fanatismus erzieht
Meine Interpretation: Es geschieht nichts übernatürliches, aber unser Verstand ist in der Lage uns vom Gegenteil zu überzeugen.
