Prepping for Furiosa (which I thought I didn’t want to see because I’m so IPed out, but the early reviews have changed my mind).

This remains one of the most incredible theatre experiences I’ve ever had. This is a movie for the big screen. A Trojan horse of a film, seemingly all “cool” and actiony, but really about coalition and resistance and how to unlearn the harmful narratives you’ve been raised with. (This is what actually makes it cool.) I would expect nothing less from the guy who made Babe. 

I guess I’m excited for Furiosa.
