i already knew the ending before starting this. it’s an iconic piece of cinema that’s hard to avoid, i’ve even referenced it without seeing it. i didn’t expect to be so deeply upset by it though. those final moments, the last shot. i’ve had a good year for films this year, found a lot of new favourites. and this was a perfect way to wrap it up <3
one of the prettiest films i’ve ever watched. i want every moment framed, from the beginning to the very snowy end. it’ll be on my mind for a while i think, especially the last scene <3 :(
me, upon seeing a house in a movie burn down: wow this is so ready or not (2019) coded
in all seriousness, i LOVE these movies. i would be happy with a million more knives out movies that have an insanely stacked cast and benoit blanc front and centre. i mean, daniel craig just seems to be having a great time and we should just let him keep going!!!!!! they are clever, my brain has exploded. KNIVES OUT 3 RN THANK YOU.
i’m not sure if there’s been another movie couple i’ve rooted for as hard as i did for the leads in this story. just every moment felt important. them rollerskating through the hotel lobby, graffitiing billboards. two lonely people falling in love <3
