festive fun for all the family! (in the sense that my parents and i watched it and we all enjoyed.)

this is officially my favourite christmas movie.

i love when christmas movie titles are just the exact plot. like yes this is christmas on the alpaca farm.

i just think sabrina carpenter should be able to do whatever she likes.

i absolutely adored this but i couldn’t stop thinking about the fact that my grandmother had seen it before me AND on the big screen all because her and a friend were supposed to be seeing allelujah (2022) but they walked into the wrong screening and stayed to watch this instead.

i love fairytale fantasy romance movies !!! idk what genre this is exactly but i know more should exist !!!

movies are so cool, they will make you terrified of something you’ve never even thought about before.

billy wilder movies will have the most utterly charming dialogue you have ever heard, every time.

very much hoping that there is a lindsay lohan christmas movie released every year

as someone who knew basically the entire plot before watching i cannot imagine what it would have been like to go in without that knowledge.

thought this was a quite interesting watch & thomasin mckenzie gives a really lovely performance

didnt realise just how many christmas movies chad michael murray had in his filmography.

for a runtime of 138 minutes i can’t tell if a lot happened or not.

wicked was the first musical that really got me into musicals (and that one tv show called any dream will do about people auditioning to be the next joseph in joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat) and it has been one of my favourites since.

i’m not surprised that i loved this. the scale is grand and the musical numbers are so perfectly done. the whole cast is fantastic. cynthia erivo and ariana grande put everything into their characters and it’s so clear how much love and care they have for them and their stories. it’s magical to witness. 💚🩷

elliott heffernan’s first performance and he is utterly brilliant, alongside saoirse ronan who is, as always, remarkable. between blitz and the outrun, i believe 2024 has given us two of her best performances.

felt smart when i guessed one of the twists and then more twists came along & i got confused for a bit.

a quiet and very beautiful movie, filled with raw emotion. saoirse ronan’s performance is one to be remembered and hopefully awarded. rooting for her, as always.

so very funny and melissa barrera is so utterly charming, i am a your monster (2024) fan confirmed.

i seriously lacked on watching christmas films last year so this year im starting early. no regrets.

brilliant. give me ten more.

i think about ready or not 2 at least once a day. i don’t think this necessarily needs a sequel but samara weaving is back as grace so can’t complain.

pyewacket the most successful cat matchmaker 🐈 more christmasy than i realised it would be. but very funny and kim novak’s character wore the most gorgeous outfits and i enjoyed 🧙🏼‍♀️

you could definitely convince me that this is actually a plot point of 9-1-1 at some point.

7 movies in this franchise and i fully intend to watch them all.

way to go director anna kendrick. such a tense movie, with some really great performances.

obsessed with every single line delivery throughout this entire movie.

can’t believe i’ve never watched this before now. the most october film ever. 

& the colour of nicole kidman‘s hair is SO gorgeous, it makes me want to dye my hair. thinking about it.

the mtv scream fan in me isn’t shocked at how great willa fitzgerald is in this. (and she’s really great.)

spooky season isn’t spooky season unless i watch a disney channel original movie 🧟‍♀️

a very stereotypical 80s slasher, but there’s a neat little twist with some telepathy featured.

loved the concept, disliked pretty much everything else. i’ve already forgotten some of the plots.

i could never EVER get bored watching this absolute chaos unfold.

when the scene transitions from nicole kidman’s hair to a field of grass. i love movies.

midway through this i cancelled my tickets for scream unseen in the cinema tomorrow since the clues are very much pointing towards terrifier 3 & i think i’ve concluded these films are Not For Me. it could very much not be, but i am not a risk-taker. 

that said, sienna shaw is a very cool character & final girl and these stars are for her.

one of my favourites of this year, i’m so serious. unique and colourful and clever and filled with chaos.

the third movie is apparently back in development so i will be awaiting it patiently (impatiently 😁)
