So heres my take:
Its honestly a very good final act, but the lead up to the conclusion is fragmented due to the story’s reliance on using sequencing as framing for the story. Personally I enjoyed around half of the film but there was a side plot that I didn’t care for at all.

The Wind Rises: Miyazaki’s Aerial Masterpiece
After watching other Ghibli dramas, such as My Neighbors the Yamadas, When Marnie Was Here, and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (although admittedly less so). This is the second Ghibli drama to struck a deep chord in me, the first being the magnificent depressing beauty of Grave of the Fireflies, but this went deeper.
