The first part of the series is actually one of the best of the whole tuning saga for me. Considered as a pure action movie it's successful. The story is hollow inside and outside and is free of big surprises (basically Point Break with cars).
But the scenes in which it gets to the point are not that bad. Vin Diesel, as a muscle-bound tuning guru, is also a cool guy. The rest are clichés...casual guys, lightly…
