To me, M has always been the centre point in the venn diagram of Spielberg, Corman and Hitchcock. With his latest thriller he ventures into a genre I love: the cat and mouse chase movie. It’s not quite ‘Duel’ or ‘Rope’, but ‘Trap’ is easily the funnest movie of Night’s third act. I hope he makes a couple more of these.
