    The Coen Brothers at their most fun and ridiculous; an absolute blast from start to finish. A very entertaining spoof on The Odyssey with some bangin music from the Soggy Bottom Boys.

    Does a great job in the pursuit of telling this larger than life tale with great set pieces, production design, and cinematography. A flawed but acceptable adaptation of the Iliad. Would have loved a deeper look into Achilles character and his backstory because he doesn’t feel as grand as he should. A valid effort though. It’s criminal we never got a sequel to this adapting The Odyssey with Sean Bean playing Odysseus. But I don’t know if they could have…

    The single best feat in animation I have ever seen. I sincerely think this might be better than Into the Spider-Verse after this. Such a beautiful piece of art from its animation to action to beautiful character scenes. I straight up started crying during the scene at the end where Gwen is talking to her dad. Might be the best movie ever and certainly is the best comic book movie ever (with ITSV).

    Needed to end 2024 right! What a fucking movie! Easily my favorite movie of the year. It better win every Oscar imaginable (it won’t but I’m coping). Genuinely might be the best movie ever.
