Can't believe that Jim Jones reference slipped away from me for years, but it's true though.
Man, if I ever were stuck in the exact same situation I'd honestly prefer to listen the word of Satan than the word of God. I'm not a satanist, but I prefer that, or any other religion over christianity or catholicism because every single time they just keep giving me reasons to despise both.
The Mist keeps being an underrated King adaptation and honestly I think that has to change.

Hellraiser is the Cannibal Corpse of the horror genre: some people think is hideous, disgusting and extremely graphic; and only us the weirdos that actually like find it beautifully hideous, disgusting and extremely graphic.

Desde la llegada de películas como the witch en 2015 y get out en 2017 el terror está pasando por una especie de aire nuevo. Todavía siguen saliendo películas genéricas, pero ya son más las propuestas que optan por una narrativa distinta. The lighthouse, midsommar, hereditary son más ejemplos. Afortunadamente el cine de terror mexicano no se está quedando atrás.

Could have used more of the Osaka landscape personally.
Still John Wick: Chapter 4 escalates in the fights and most importantly, their duration and their angle.
I consider this whole franchise a whole new achievement for action movies.

This is exactly what Jason Takes Manhattan should have been.
Without a doubt, a tribute for horror fans, and above all things, a tribute to this amazing franchise. If only the rest of classic slasher franchises could have been just as good as this one with each sequel.
I feel like Mindy when my prediction of Kirby dying did not happen.
Also, guys... we did it, Letterboxd is cannon. I REPEAT: LETTERBOXD IS CANNON. IT'S REAL!!!!

V/H/S 99 sure feels a little nostalgic about the beginning of the 2000s with the internet, Y2K, punk rock and the loose clothing.
I think this one outstanded all of the previous movies, but again, I still cannot fully connect with these ones. I'm still thrilled for V/H/S 85 though.
