Einer der wenigen Film, der als Serie wahrscheinlich noch besser gewesen wäre, da sehr viel Potenzial auf der Strecke geblieben ist. Wenn man mal den patriotischen Blödsinn und die Angst vor dem Kommunismus außer Acht lässt, ist es eine gelungene Darbietung gewesen. Dennoch bleibt die Frage nach der Moral der Menschlichkeit.
