In November, Acoucalancha (give him a follow!) and I started our Action Film Challenge with the goal of each creating a top 10. Well, we’ve completed it and My Top 10 is ready.
I’ve learned a few things along the way:
- I’m a big fan of Indonesian action. Basically moving forward, all I need is someone to tell me an action film from that region is good and it’ll be fast tracked on the watchlist.
- I’m not a fan of the Mad Max universe. Overall, I find it very hard to connect to any of the characters.
- My favorite action style is hand-to-hand combat/martial arts followed by gun play.
- I have a soft spot for Keanu Reeves circa action star 1990s.
