At the start of 2022, I made a commitment to myself to write reviews for all the movies I watch. It’s been quite the ride, from 2021 catch ups, winding down my mounting unseen stack of Blu-rays (down from around 100 to roughly 40 titles left), all while seeing old and new releases. The availability of movies at my local library has been a huge help and wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. I didn’t mention this in my review, but The Banshees of Inisherin was my first time back in a movie theater post pandemic, words cannot express how much I missed being there and all the emotions that flooded back.
My goal for 2023 is to have more theatrical experiences like I used to, providing reviews in a more timely fashion. Lastly, I want to thank everyone who ever gave a follow, read/liked a review, or left a comment. This community of movie enthusiasts is the best thing I ever had the pleasure in being a part of. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading people’s reviews (whether our takes lined up or not). Here's to another great year of storytelling.
