Finished reworking my Top 10 Comedies Ranked list. I rewatched about 15 films in preparation for it. I somehow didn’t include Heathers at first (which is in my Top 10 films all-time) because I didn’t think of it as a traditional comedy but as I suspected it skyrocketed to the top of the list when I watched it tonight.
There were a couple of surprises along the way too:
- Both The Cable Guy & Tropic Thunder got booted from my list. These two are nostalgia bombs especially The Cable Guy as I’ve loved it since I’m a teen. I still adore both.
- Knocked Up made the list! As I was thinking of candidates, I thought of this film I’d only seen once and thought was hilarious. It was kind of random with all the other films I’ve seen dozen of times. I had a ball watching it.
- Two if By Sea made the list. I loved this romcom as a teen but I hadn’t seen it in decades. I think it’s one of the best ones out there.
Next up is my Top 10 Action Films Ranked list (candidates). I’ll be starting in November after spooky season is over.
