    Without going incredibly out of your way, you cannot leave the Minneapolis/St Paul airport --which is actually in Bloomington, near the Mall of America, placing the airport in-between, but south, of both actual cities-- and then enter downtown Minneapolis from the northeast side of town on the Hennepin Ave bridge.
