Jaws. Underwater octopus lair. The best cold open and a top 5 theme.
The best of the Moore Bonds, with the best blend of the Moore camp vs seriousness. There is something about this period of Bonds that just reminds me of being 10 and having "7 days of 007" on TBS and watching these with my old man.
Strombergs lair is what you picture when you think of "supervillian lair". The cold open is just *chef kiss*. And Jaws…

Oh no. What the hell is this?
My previous sentiments of "these are dumb, but they need to be comfortable with that" were a huge mistake. We need to go back!

What a fantastic idea for a horror movie.
Having seemingly rewatched these in some kind of quasi-random reverse order, you forget how much this one is an actual movie. It's not just speed running to the kills you actually get some characters.
Sawa is great as someone losing his damn mind, Larter is great (and looks like a different damn person with that haircut), and it's nice to see Scott NOT playing Stiffler.
