Unfortunately this film once again fails to do anything for me. Besides the colors there’s nothing here I really enjoy all too much. I couldn’t give a damn about the relationship of the main characters (which felt so fake & forced) and I once again dealt with the same character issues I had in my first watch, I felt like I knew NOTHING about these people, so I just couldn’t care about them as characters. The musical numbers are ok I guess? They aren’t great but aren’t horrible. The only thing that I guess I truly enjoyed besides the use of colors is that it isn’t a happy ending! Even then there’s not a lot of redeeming qualities for me… just meh all around.
I’m forever upset I won’t have the love for this like seemingly everyone else does, but I really did try!
