“Every time a grown man sharts himself, a demon earns its horns.”

Literal hog shit lmao. It’s crazy to me how horrible a movie can be but because of a soft spot I have for certain actors like Jack Black, it becomes “watchable” I guess. Even then, it’s still really bad.

Awful dialogue, atrocious kid performances, disgustingly written script. There’s almost nothing here.
Also one of the worst endings in any movie ever tbh. Completely ruins the entire already horrible movie.

Watched as Nolan intended… on a 13 inch MacBook screen on a flight home from Jamaica. Still one of the greatest achievements in film ever imo.

Man what a delightful ass movie. I might be overrating it just a tad but it’s does pretty much everything it needs to do for me to love it.

Extremely emotional movie. Damn near perfectly portrays the meaning of Christmas. Kind of overly classic in a lot of way. There’s not a whole lot special to it in terms of doing something…

It’s crazy to me how many different topics and messages can be tackled in one movie. It’s truly fascinating.

A Christmas classic I want to watch early in the month every year. I love every second of this movie. The music is incredible. Jack is such a fantastic character. The animation is undeniably some…

“I don't even eat Cheetos! You know why? Because it sounds like cheaters!”

SO damn mid but actually kinda works. I think I’ll always have a soft spot for Kevin Hart movies. He’s genuinely so likeable, consistently plays himself perfectly in all his movies, and freakishly short.

His dynamic with Haddish here is pretty cool. The group of night school students is fun and have loud characteristics but for some reason still feel really bland.

    Just a fun shitty comedy.

    “We’re all Spider-Man.”

I watched this with Sadie on the plane to Jamaica so I don’t know if this is the absolute best way to put it into my ranking but I’m gonna leave it there anyways and move it around next rewatch.

This movie is nothing short of masterful. Genuinely a landmark…

    “I never forget a fist.”

I can NOT stress this enough. If they dropped the whole bullshit Tom Ryder plot line (the entire movie) this shit would’ve been so gas.

I was really loving the first 20-30 mins. It’s actually a really unique and fun meta movie about stunt people. It’s crazy how overlooked they are in the industry and I think if this movie decided to be normal, it could’ve been a lot better. I just…

Man this movie is so ridiculously perfect. Genuinely one of the best character studies ever put to screen.

This type of character is one that is never really the star of a movie. The kind of character that’s never as fleshed out as you’d really hope. In a lot of ways, this story feels so refreshing in a really…

“Tupac said there would be days like this.”

I say this a lot but if there’s a single character in film, tv, or any other form of media that’s “literally me”, it’s Dan Pinto.

Really effective crazy bitch movie. Aubrey Plaza is the ONLY actress to play a role like this. It’s unbelievably cringy throughout the entire runtime and insanely hard to watch. I really didn’t like watching it.

Not much else to say. Sadie is literally Ingrid. I’m literally Dan.

I love that this director is now 0/2 on casting people who look the age he writes his characters. Moose being 14 is baffling.

This is genuinely a refreshing summer movie. Kinda hilarious we decided to watch it on the first big Alberta snowfall of the season and I’m telling you right now that definitely affects the rating a bit.
It’s got a really fun and really predictable story…
