"They worship everything and they value nothing."

La La Land is a film that never ceases to amaze me. Its music-like rhythm draws me into this love story in such a hypnotic way that's pretty much impossible not to be dazzled by every sequence.

Damien Chazelle's directing is flawless. He crafts huge sequences and makes them seem easy to pull off. The long takes were wonderfully done and added so much depth to the narrative; it's like you're having the most beautiful of dreams... even the sets are designed to make it feel like a dream.
