Okay, first of all, W Tim Burton, for giving Jeffrey Jones the horrible disservice he deserves in this film. OK, for the movie, it was good, not as good as the original but good nonetheless it felt oversaturated with three plot lines, intertwining, Michael Keaton carried a lot of scenes and most of the movie, Winona Ryder s back as Lydia and is Both Queen and Mother same with Catherine O’Hara who is so over the top in the best way possible, I think Jenna Ortega was good edition the story, but her main plot line lasted only 15 minutes, I think Willem Dafoe was appropriately used in this his character just there to be fun and not overly serious and I’m more than with that. But literally, one of the biggest storylines gets sidelined a lot of things with Beetlejuice’s wife, who's literally just a slasher villain. It had potential, but it got wasted. It’s a good movie, fun and incredibly Gothic, and definitely one of the better projects Tim Burton has directed in recent years.
