This movie caught me off guard, I thought I wasn't going to cry. I've known the ending by osmosis at this point, I truly thought it wasn't going to get me but by golly, when uncle Bill showed up with the basket full of money and the people kept pouring in I was crying non-stop. To misquote Richie Rich parents: Regina, now our son really is the richest boy in the world... He has friends.
I don't give this the 5 ⭐ because that fat ass of Potter didn't get his comeuppance. I truly wanted that man to die of a coronary, I truly madly deeply wanted that. There's your lesson kids, capitalistic pigs never pay 😒
