Just as the title says, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is just another Beetlejuice, more of the same fun that worked before returns here. The bonkers art direction, set design, make-up, costumes are as strong as ever. As is Michael Keaton as the titular character who easily owns every second of screentime he gets. Newcomers like Willem Dafoe, Jenna Ortega, and Monica Bellucci were nice too but I gotta say I was very disappointed by Bellucci's role here. She's barely in it and it ends in a pretty unsatisfying way. I guess the plot is my biggest issue here, it didn't feel as interesting as before but the film is such a fun ride that you can look past that stuff. As far as legacy sequels go: pretty solid!
