Hello Pumpkin

It’s pumpkin season and as I love everything pumpkin I created this mixed media page – Hello Pumpkin (smile!).

This tutorial shows the essentials of how I created this art journal page taking a step-by-step approach that I used using white gesso, a marker pen, a napkin (from my dear friend, Erika), matte gel medium, inks, ephemera, glue tape, Thinlits die cuts, Liquitex acrylic inks and a gel pen.

Taking pride of place on our dining room table is this fabulous sign that we bought from a local home store, we just couldn’t resist (smile!).

As T Stands For Tuesday, I’m sharing this Hello Pumpkin mug that we saw in the same local home store which I just managed to resist buying (smile!) – wishing you all a very Happy T Day!

Purple Mushroom Halloween Card

It’s Halloween next week, so here’s a card that I created for a dear friend who celebrates (smile!).

This tutorial shows the essentials of how I created this 4″x4″ Halloween card taking a step-by-step approach that I used using an old Halloween paper pad, ephemera, white cardstock, Thinlits die cuts, inks, glue tape, acrylic inks, a gel pen and fine line marker.

Hocus Pocus Cats

As it’s October, I’ve created another Halloween inspired mixed media page, this time with some mischievous cats flying on their broomstick (smile!).

It’s time for a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday, which for the next two weeks is Halloween.

I prefer the cutie side of Halloween, so my page features an adorable mischievous cat sitting on some autumnal foliage and pumpkins (smile!).

In a flutter

It’s time for a new challenge at Try it on Tuesday, which for the next two weeks is Black & White + 1.

It was fun creating this page with the limited colour palette of black and white and my additional colour was the brown background of this chipboard page.

Card Making – Vintage Tag Design

I’ve just started creating birthday cards for my family and friends ready for next year. I decided to use up leftover papers, washi tape and ephemera that are in my craft stash to create a vintage design.
