Procellariidae
Appearance
Procellariidae (a procella[2]) sunt familia avium maritimarum ordinis Procellariiformium. Ordini etiam sunt greges Diomedeidae, Hydrobatidae, Oceanitidae, et Pelecanoides. Piscibus, decapodiformibus, et crustaceis vesci solent.
Taxinomia et evolutio
[recensere | fontem recensere]Familia nomine Procellaridæ a Gulielmo Elford Leach, zoologo Anglico, introducta est in libro rerum in Museo Britannico contentarum describendarum, anno 1820 prolato.[3][4]
