Even Michael Cardenas Wants a Place in Manhattan Beach

Serial restaurateur Michael Cardenas (Lazy Ox, Toranoko) is on the move. Not long after bringing Spanish tapas and paella to Santa Monica via Taberna Arros y Vi, Cardenas is next venturing out to Manhattan Beach, adding another contribution to the hood's up and coming dining scene. Katsu Sushi on Rosecrans and Highland is in escrow to become another Cardenas effort, and judging from his resume it wouldn't be out of the question to think that another Asian concept is in the works.
