wow you knocked it out the park with story depth!! I've personally been focused on gameplay side for gamejams and just on this jam tried to add some "setting" for visual narrative. soo it was really inspiring to see how you handled it. Also really good decisions on visual narrative like colors, the phone or qol features like quicksave, love it and will try to add some of that for my next jams
It definitely takes a moment to get into it, especially if you're not used to fast paced shooters. Generally what you can do is to memorize enemies locations as they stay same (including room's layout), it's just order that is randomized. After clearing a few rooms, you get to pick a perk that may give you great boost such as 2 seconds more to your flashlight timer before it runs out of battery. Thanks for trying!!!
I saved Peanut! will check out other endings too, but gotta say that I love your approach to colors. It looks so well put together considering it was made for a game jam. It gets spooky, even silly at times (found the yo mama joke on a wall). Congrats on delivering such coherent experience!
also love the faces that appear in background
thank you!! I really appreciate tips and staying till the end of endless mode!!
I admit there are many bits to make a great strategy game such as info/stats/tower (?) popup that displays specific info about units.
I'll make sure to improve and do better on these stuff on my next gamejams! thanks once again!
