The radio stations in the Game Boy Color version of Grand Theft Auto 2 can be heard while in a vehicle or on foot. The radio stations does not features DJs, commercials, and dialogues.

Similar to the Radio Stations in the Game Boy Color version of the original Grand Theft Auto, the player can't switch radio stations in the car and all stations are unnamed. Songs serve as the unnamed "radio stations" in the Game Boy Color version of game, and the whole tracklist are different from the original versions of the game.

Each time a player gets in a car, it will play a looped, instrumental 8-bit version of a single song. When the player exits the vehicle, the song will still play until the player gets in a different vehicle, which makes the game switch the song.
