Carolina Asia Center
The Carolina Asia Center, the leading center of its kind in the southeastern U.S., seeks to promote intercultural exchange between the U.S. and Asia, and to improve and support education and research on Asia. The center has been designated as a National Resource Center and Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowship granting center by the U.S. Department of Education.
Featured Program
Southeast Asian Approaches is a faculty working group of nearly 40 scholars from UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke University and North Carolina State University that increases the visibility of Southeast Asian studies in the Triangle. By providing a forum for scholars to discuss projects, ideas, and approaches in research and teaching, the working group supports collaboration in Southeast Asian studies across all disciplines.
