The Rakuten Group offers two types of business positions: the Comprehensive Business Course, which offers the possibility of being assigned to all divisions/jobs across Rakuten, and role-specific courses, which assures initial assignment and job type.

Recruitment for Business Positions

Eligible Applicants

Able to join us in April 2025. (expected to graduate from any university or graduate school by March 31, 2025)

*Either new or graduates are eligible. Those with work experience of less than 3 years are also accepted.
Possess Japanese skills of business level or higher

Comprehensive Business Course

Courses with the possibility of assignment to any of the divisions or positions at Rakuten.

FinTech Course

This course offers a guaranteed initial assignment to the FinTech business.
Expected number of hires: around 30 peoplePossible time of entry: April

Corporate Course

This course offers a guaranteed initial assignment to the Intellectual Property/Finance & Accounting Division.
Expected number of hires: a fewPossible time of entry: April

Design Course

This course offers a guaranteed initial assignment to the Design/UX Division.
*A portfolio must be submitted upon submission of the Application Form.
Expected number of hires: a fewPossible time of entry: April

Marketing Course

This course offers a guaranteed initial assignment to the Marketing Division.
*You will be required to answer a separate questionnaire (written type) upon submission of the Application Form.
