Out Here on My Own by Cast of Fame is featured in Asian F, the third episode of Season Three. It is sung by Mercedes and Rachel.
Both of them sing it as their callback piece for West Side Story. They both auditioned for the role of Maria. They take turns to sing their version of the song but in the episode, it changes between the both of them. In the end, the results were that both of them get to be Maria on different days of the production, to which Rachel happily agrees to but Mercedes doesn't like the idea. Therefore, she drops out of the musical production as well as Glee Club.
