Genius Invokation TCG is a permanent game mode introduced in Version 3.3.
Players can unlock the tutorial quest Come Try Genius Invokation TCG! by reaching Adventure Rank 32 and completing Archon Quest Prologue: Act III - Song of the Dragon and Freedom.
Gameplay[]
Players can invite characters and NPCs to play against in PvE. Players can play against friends, but there are no rewards for PvP.

Cards[]
There are two groups of cards, Character Cards and Action Cards. They can be obtained from the Card Shop, completing challenges in duels, and increasing Player Level.
A total of 253,250 Lucky Coins can be obtained from stages, excluding Weekly Guest Challenges, with an additional 23,600 Lucky Coins obtainable from the TCG Player's Manual Match Rewards and 500 from Player Level Rewards.
Character Cards[]
Character Cards have three types of abilities that can be used: Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst. Some cards may have multiple Normal Attacks or Elemental Skills.
Character Cards based on Playable Characters can be obtained by achieving victory in the Friendly Fracas difficulty of Invitationals. Diluc, Kaeya, Sucrose, and Fischl can be obtained during the tutorial quest Come Try Genius Invokation TCG!.
Character Cards based on certain Enemies can be obtained by achieving victory on the Friendly Fracas difficulty of Tavern Challenges.
Action Cards[]
There are 3 types of Action Cards, each with different effects:
- Equipment Cards are equipped on character to apply an effect that buffs the character.
- Weapon Cards are based on Weapons.
- Artifact Cards are based on Artifacts and Artifact Sets.
- Talent Cards are based on Character Talents and Constellations.
- Event Cards will immediately trigger a one-time effect when played.
- Elemental Resonance Cards provide effects based on having two Character Cards of the same element in the deck.
- Food Cards give buffs to the character that eats the food.
- Arcane Legend Cards are cards that players can only use once per match and appear in their starting hand.
- No Group Cards provide effects not in the above groups.
- Support Cards can placed in the Support Zone to continuously apply supporting effects.
- Companion Cards are based on NPCs.
- Item Cards are based on Items.
- Location Cards are based on Locations.
- No Group Cards provide effects not in the above groups.
Player Level[]
Players can play Genius Invokation TCG to earn Player EXP to increase their Player Level.
Some Player Levels require completing the Ascension Challenge to level up once the required EXP is obtained.
A total of 11,760 Player EXP can be obtained from stages, excluding Weekly Guest Challenges.

Stages[]
StagesOpen World Matches[]
Use the Casket of Tomes to find players on the map. There are two difficulties, Adventure Challenges and Duels. Complete to earn Player EXP and cards.
Weekly Guest Challenges[]
Each week, a maximum of 4 guests will visit The Cat's Tail. 1 will appear daily, but after reaching level 4, they will all appear on Monday. Defeat them in duels to obtain Player EXP.
Due to all guest arriving on Monday at Player Level 4 and up, if it is not Sunday, the rewards for completing the guest challenges no longer change the day after the player increases their Player Level between guest challenge days as available challenges do not change.
Some opponents in Weekly Guest Challenges will change their decks based on the player's Player Level, such modifying the Active Character Cards Lineup, modifying the Reserve Lineup, or modifying the Action Cards.

Tavern Challenges[]
Tavern Challenges are tests of mastery received at The Cat's Tail. There are Friendly Fracas and Serious Showdown difficulties. Complete the challenge objectives to earn Character and Talent Cards.

Invitation BoardPlayers can access the Invitation Board to invite characters through the Player List or match with other players in Co-Op Mode.

Heated Battle Mode[]
Heated Battle Mode is available for a limited time available on a regular basis each Version. Each version will have a special rules that may lead to a completely different experience from the usual gameplay of Genius Invokation TCG.
Heated Battle Mode can be accessed at the Invitation Board of The Cat's Tail once the player has reached Player Level 4.
Arena of Champions[]
Arena of Champions is a PvP gamemode where players must win consecutively to succeed.
The Forge Realm's Temper[]
The Forge Realm's Temper is an Event PvE gamemode with various challenges and modifiers.
Duel Replay[]
Duel ReplayDuel Replay allows players to watch their past duels. Up to 3 of the 
Most Recent Duels are saved and up to 5 
Favorite Duels can be saved.
The Duel Replay menu displays the player's and opponent's Character Cards, the result, the type, the date, and time of the duel.
During replays, the game can be played as normal, paused, or fast forwarded.
