land mammals have a more porous skin allowing gasses to seep out and not build pressure - marine creatures on the other hand have a much thicker hide with a lot less porosity allowing pressure to build until the creature splits or even explodes.

other than that im really not bothered until they can keep devices charged WHEREVER you are (a la teslas wireless energy ideas) or better yet keep electric bikes and cars running nationwide without the need for enormous battery packs and 13 hour stop offs to recharge every 100 or so miles.

im still waiting for someone in power to ask the question - why arent all the highlevel americans (including white house politicians) who supported, often openly, the IRA being shipped to gitmo? people who had limited associations with organisations classed as 'fringe' are being targeted by 3 letter organisations so why not those in power who support(ed) actual terrorism?

the evidence the police presented in their defence has crumbled around their own ears already - the bullet found in the police radio? came from a police issue mp5, as usual theyre covering their own asses
the modified pistol found at the scene shows NO signs of having been fired and there are huge inconsistancies as to where it came from or that duggan was even in possession of it

i mean its obvious computergames are the cause, police killing an innocent and then beating the shit out of a minor are both much less likely to be flashpoints for violence than a computergame.
besides its not like the police would want to move blame away from their own actions is it?
personally i think this is great news, perhaps now that SSD's will eb made and used in much larger amount the prices will finally start falling making them more accessable to the average consumer.

marine deisel is very (very) thick, almost like tar - in fact a lot like tar as it can easily become a solid and must be heated to 'thin' it slightly for pumping to the engines

the 'life support systems' in a cessna are wings and an engine. yup i can see why that would be unecessary extra weight.
idea - kick general atomics and their $3.3million pricetag in the balls and just fit cessnas with the avionics and sensor gear. they can even be outfitted with missile pylons. shitload cheaper (cessna caravan can even be bought with the sensor package pre-installed) in purchase, shitload cheaper to run (parts cost next to nothing and are mass produced), and with spare cockpit space used for extra fuel tanks theyd beat the loiter time for predators/reapers.
