Student Support
Academic Advising
We have four full-time academic advisors dedicated specifically to the college. Our advisors will walk with you throughout your time here, helping create a plan of study, making sure you are on track for graduation, and navigating the ins and outs of your education experience to meet your goals.
Ambassador Program
As part of the undergraduate Teacher Education Program, you can be a Hawkeye Teacher Student Ambassador and join a group of like-minded peers to gain leadership skills and experience in educational settings.
Teacher Licensure
All teachers must be licensed in the state where they want to teach. We have two full-time, licensure specialists dedicated to helping guide you through the steps to initial teacher licensure. Whether you want to teach in Iowa, Illinois, Texas, or Costa Rica, they can help.
