Teddy Kumar is a character featured in the 2023 film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the fifth and final installment of the Indiana Jones franchise. French actor Ethann Isidore portrays him in his feature debut and first English-speaking role.

Teddy Kumar is a teenage friend of Helena Shaw, a British relic hunter and the female lead of the film. When he was ten years old, he met Shaw and tried to rob her in Tangier, Morocco. She took him under her wing and taught him how to survive in the streets. He is an aspiring pilot, absorbing flying lessons from aviators that visited Hotel L'Atlantique, where he lives.

Teddy Kumar is a sneaky, resourceful, and adventurous youngster who knows his way around Tangier. He is loyal to Shaw, whom he considers his big sister, and develops a friendship with Jones, whom he admires for his bravery and knowledge. He is not afraid of snakes, unlike Jones, and likes to tease him about it. He has a sense of humor and a knack for getting into trouble.
Role in the film[]
In 1969, Teddy Kumar got caught up in Indiana Jones and Helena Shaw's pursuit of the Dial of Destiny, an ancient artifact that can manipulate time and space. He participates in a tuk-tuk chase involving the pair, riding in the back of Shaw's tuk-tuk. He also joins them in an airplane chase against Nazi agents who are after the Dial. He helps Jones and Shaw reach the hidden temple where the Dial is located and witnesses its time-twisting effects.

- Teddy is somewhat similar to Short Round, Indy's assistant in The Temple of Doom. Like Shorty, Teddy first met Helena when he tried to steal her purse.
