Callisto Mal is a supporting character in Disney's 2022 animated feature film Strange World. She is the president of Avalonia and helps lead the Clades into this new world.

Template:Expand section Callisto is a middle-aged woman with a muscular body, light brown skin, dark hair, and brown eyes. She is very tall as she towers over Searcher Clade, even when he grows into an adult, but her height is smaller compared to that of Jaeger Clade's.

Once Upon a Studio[]
After the employees at the Walt Disney Animation Studios leave, Callisto joins all of the Disney characters to take a group photo to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Disney. Callisto then joins in on the ensemble of singing "When You Wish Upon a Star" as the group photo is successfully taken.
Trivia[]
- When the casting notice was first leaked, a character was listed as Calypso Kahn. Due to the similar sounding name, this was either the original name of the character, or the leaker failed to clarify the name and simply had it misprinted.
- Her name is a contradiction. Callisto is Italian for "Good", while Mal is Spanish for "Bad", meaning that her name is "Good Bad". This is most likely a reference to her actions in the film.
- Early concept art depicts Callisto with a prosthetic leg, colored hair on the pink-blue spectrum, and a more regal appearance.
- She bares a slight resemblance to Namaari from Raya and the Last Dragon in terms of skin color and hair style.
