Santa’s visiting and building a little winter wonderland up in McKinney at the Santa’s Workshop Christmas Pop-Up near the former Rye space — and this one is designed with cocktails by Apothecary. It featured Christmas movie-themed rooms inspired by classics, including A Christmas Story, Elf, and The Grinch. Kids are welcome until 10 p.m. daily, and some cocktails have non-alcoholic versions. It becomes 21 and up after that, with cocktails such as the Clausmopolitan (a white Cosmo with “icing” and sprinkles) and Santa’s Pick Me Up (a milk and cookies white Russian). It’s open until December 31 and will close with a New Year’s Eve bash. 

Visit a wonder wonderland in Frisco. This French bistro has gone snowy for the season with snowy pine trees, birch wood, flocked garlands, and snow-covered wreaths. Let it snow inside Leela’s Wine Bar for its annual holiday pop-up at all locations. It’s red and white and lit up all over, with a menu of Holiday House-themed cocktails. Those include the Ornamint (strawberry and hibiscus-infused gin, italicus, strawberry, lemon and tonic served in an ornament glass), the Polar Expresso (espresso-infused vodka, Mr. Black, frangelico, cream and cinnamon), All Things Nice (a gingerbread espresso martini), and many more. The All Aboard! Espresso Flight will also feature mini versions of the holiday menu espresso martini, gingerbread espresso martini, and s’mores espresso martini.

Reserve your very own igloo at the Uptown location of Sixty Vines. It features holiday decorator, blankets, pillows, a Bluetooth speaker, and a space heater to stay cozy. This private dining option is two-hours long, seats up to six, and requires a $200 minimum food and beverage tab. Make reservations online.

Pop on up to the rooftop of The Henry for its Winter Wonderland. Celebrate with plates of warm croissant bread pudding and light bites. For the extra festive, order the tequila tree, which features eight Patron margaritas in four flavors. Other holiday cocktails include a spiced pear cosmopolitan, sweater weather sangria, and a fig and ginger mule.

This Deep Ellum spot will make it snow this holiday season — literally. Amid its holiday decor is a snow machine drops a festive load every half hour. Try the holiday cocktails, including Christmas at the Ranch, Santa’s Flask, Jingle Juice, or a Christmas Staycation. And pop under the mistletoe in its Merry Kiss Me Photo Booth to make some serious memories.

Looking for rooftop fun in downtown Dallas? The Statler’s rooftop has snow globes and winter cabanas that can be rented for a private winter cocktail hour, or the standing-room bar is open (it’s free to access before 3 p.m., and there is a $10 cover after). It’s also offering high tea service on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. by reservation. And this winter experience will be around until February 11.

Land your sleigh on the rooftop of the Adophus (or, you know, take the elevator up) for a visit to its Winter Village Ski Lodge. It’s got yurts, snowscapes, tableside s’mores, and holiday cocktails. The festive menu includes Adolphus Cider, Hot Toddy, Hawt Chocolate, ‘Tini Bear, Merry-Rita, and more. Bites are also available. The ski lodge is open Tuesday-Saturday evenings from 4 p.m.- 12 a.m. Private yurts and cabanas are available to reserve on Resy. Prices range from $250-$350. Additional seating areas are open on a first-come, first-served basis.
