2021年11月にユネスコの第41回総会で採択された「オープンサイエンスに関する勧告」を受けた、加盟国の取組状況をまとめた初の統合報告書がユネスコのウェブサイト上で公開されています。
日本を含む77か国からの報告に基づき、主要な動向等がまとめられています。同報告書は、今後、2025年秋に開催予定のユネスコの執行委員会（Executive Board）及び総会に提出される予定であり、より包括的な分析結果は2026年初めに公表予定としています。
