Charleston Wine + Food was forced to cancel and move events due to a massive rainstorm last year, but it is coming back in 2025 with renewed excitement and vigor. The festival released its new schedule on Monday, October 21, and it is stacked with star chefs and a new location for the Culinary Village—the Johnson Hagood Stadium. This means the outdoor event is back downtown since it moved to North Charleston in 2022.

Highlights from the schedule include a dinner with Gullah Geechee chef B.J. Dennis, a tribute to Jacques Pépin, a fast food and wine pairing, a Kamayan feast with Kultura, and Lowcountry legend Hominy Grill will return for one night of service.

“I’ve been really excited and impressed with the level of creativity of the events,” says Wine + Food executive director Alyssa Maute Smith, “In particular, the events happening in restaurants. Often, those sit-down meals follow a similar format, and people are shaking it up this year, which I think is exciting and doing something a little bit different than they usually do and working with really fantastic talent. We’ve got some pretty high-end, star-studded group of talent with several Michelin chefs.”

Charleston Wine + Food tickets go on sale on Thursday, October 24, at 11 a.m.
