What that means for the menu

Former Cannon Green chef Amalia Scatena officially joins the team at Goat Sheep Cow North as executive chef. Scatena was at Spring Street restaurant Cannon Green since its opening in December 2014.

According to the press release, Scatena and the team will keep many of the classic lunch dishes on the current menu, but will also expand the offerings to “include a carefully curated dinner menu.” Scatena’s background is in Mediterranean cuisine, so look for those influences to come into play.

Co-owners Patty Floersheimer and Trudi Wagner opened Goat Sheep Cow North in November 2016 with five times the space of their original Church Street shop. The new NoMo addition also came with an expanded menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches, as well as a space to enjoy the cheeses and wines on sale.

Chef Michael Perez, recently of Colletta in Atlanta, took Scatena’s place at Cannon Green at the beginning of April. Perez was on the team that opened Italian restaurant Indaco.
