McDougle (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Virginia State Senate to represent District 26. He won in the general election on November 7, 2023.

McDougle began serving as state minority leader in 2024.

Biography

Ryan McDougle was born in Hanover, Virginia. McDougle received a bachelor's degree in political science and history at James Madison University. McDougle later attended and received a J.D. at Marshall-Wythe School of Law, The College of William and Mary. His career experience includes working as an attorney.[1]
