Campaign website

Sibhatu’s campaign website stated the following:

Diversity

America is land of immigrants. They are the backbone of the economy and share American values. I want to create a more Inclusive environment within the Republican party. An environment that welcomes the hard working immigrants to participate in our political system.

Education

Children are the future of America. We must invest in families by increasing funding for early childhood education. Furthermore, to invest in our communities and provide more educational opportunities to parents. I support school choice.

National Security

Increase military funding and improve the treatment of Veterans and their families by expanding VA funding and providing more counseling for the veterans and their families and I fully support the law enforcement.

Economy

As a small business owner I will support small businesses by reducing taxes and lifting the red tape to start a business. Government should allow the economy to thrive with very minimal interference.[2]

Expand all | Collapse all

Lichia Sibhatu is running for North Carolina U.S. Senate. She is a mother of three and has served the community for twenty years in a variety of ways. As an entrepreneur and a proud owner of a 5 star daycare she has served the community and has created a grassroots campaign. With no ties to corporations and Washington lobbyists you can rest assured that her best interest is with the American people.

Lichia Sibhatu has lived and served Wake County for the last 20 years. Before moving to NC Ms. Sibhatu lived in Moscow Russia where she graduated from University of Moscow. She wants to empower the future by supporting teachers, parents, and most importantly children. By better funding afterschool programs and counseling for trauma and cracking down on the swamp.

As a small business owner I will support small businesses by reducing taxes and lifting the red tape to starting a business. Government should allow the economy to thrive with very minimal interference.

I will work across the aisles with both parties to accomplishes goals that will benefit the American people.
