Frank Blas Jr. (Republican Party) (also known as Biba) is a member of the Guam Senate. He assumed office on January 4, 2021. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.

Blas (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Guam Senate. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Frank Blas Jr.'s career experience includes working as a police officer, co-founding Frank Blas & Associates, Inc., and the president and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam. Blas founded the Guam War Survivors Memorial Foundation.[1]

2016 Republican National Convention

Blas was an at-large delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention from Guam.

Delegate rules

At-large delegates from Guam were elected at a territorial convention on March 12, 2016. All Guam delegates were unpledged, meaning they were not bound by local party regulations to vote for any specific candidate at the Republican National Convention.

At the Guam Republican territorial convention, six delegates were elected to the national convention. At the time of their election, five of the delegates had not publicly announced which candidate they intended to support, while one delegate—Guam Governor Eddie Calvo—announced his intentions to support Ted Cruz.[2]
