Biography
Bill Condict was born in Middletown, Ohio. Condict served in the U.S. Navy from 1989 to 2013. He earned a bachelor's degree from Miami University in 2019. Condict's career experience includes working as a program scheduler for L3 Harris Technologies, in avionics systems, as a manager of maintenance departments, and in reconstruction efforts in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq with the U.S. Navy.[1]

EDUCATION "It is favourable to Liberty. Freedom can exist only in the society of knowledge. Without learning, men are incapable of knowing their rights, and where learning is confined to a few people, liberty can be neither equal nor universal." ~Benjamin Rush~ Without a solid education, our children's future will be bleak, the future of our nation uncertain. Our tax dollars fund the public institutions which educate our children. We do not expect our children to be indoctrinated when they get on the bus in the morning, we expect them to be taught reading, writing, arithmetic, science, social studies, and basic civics. We have the right to have influence in this regard. Education should not include distorted representations of reality, with the sole intention of dividing our children based upon immutable characteristics. We are all endowed, by our Creator, with the ability to think and reason; to evaluate others, “not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” To poison a child’s mind with the concept of superior/subservient relationships, based solely upon pigmentation is one of the most egregious forms of child abuse. It teaches one child they are irredeemably to blame for history and another child that there is no hope for their future. No child should be inculcated with such un-American ideas. Join me in the fight for our children’s futures. Fight against radical Marxist propaganda, such as critical race theory (CRT), being forced upon our children in the classroom. The Department of Education needs to have an extensive overhaul or be completely abolished altogether. Education is a states' issue and should be completely out of reach of the federal government, except perhaps for matters concerning Civil Rights violations. BORDER / IMMIGRATION "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." ~Constitution of the United States of America, Preamble~ The most basic obligation of our federal government is to protect its citizens and the sovereignty of the United States of America. The Biden administration is facilitating an unarmed invasion of the United States of America from the southern border. Congress has enabled this invasion by not exercising their equal power to hold the President to his oath. Each member of Congress, as has the President, swore an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…” and to “…bear true faith and allegiance to the same…” Unfortunately, an overwhelming majority of today’s politicians treat their oath as a formality. For that reason alone, they should not be beneficiaries of your support, and arguably removed from office. Securing the borders of the United States is a fundamental duty of our government. A duty it is failing to fulfill. I will fight to continue the construction of the border wall, limit the annual number of immigrants, and for the thorough vetting of those seeking to enter our country. COVID-19 / MANDATES “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, Deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” ~Benjamin Franklin~ By the end of this primary, what started as “3 weeks to flatten the curve” will have turned into 100+ weeks; twenty-one days will have turned into over 700! Seven-hundred days of lockdowns, shutdowns, mask mandates, and "vaccination" mandates. Where are we now, after 700+ days? In 2021, the United States has suffered more COVID-19 deaths than in 2020; not by much, but not fewer. If an individual does not have complete domain over their body, they are not free. Whether a person chooses to receive the shot or not, is a personal decision. If they choose to wear a mask, or not, again is a personal decision. Nobody should face ridicule, or be vilified, for making personal decisions such as these. The notion that “the unvaccinated are jeopardizing the health of the vaccinated,” flies in the face of common sense and logic. We know the vaccinated are not protect against contracting COVID-19, nor does it stop them from spreading it. It merely reduces the symptoms. A choice they have the right to make for themselves. Individual liberty is a founding principle of our nation and should be jealously guarded. Mandating an injection, or the wearing of a particular garment is antithetical to our founding at best, tyrannical at worst. POLITICAL CORRUPTION / LEADERSHIP "Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence... the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government." ~George Washington~ We need not look very long to find examples of the corruption of our elected officials. From illegal campaign contributions from foreign governments to the sale of “art” to unknown buyers for undisclosed sums of money, by the son of a sitting United States President. Our federal government is rife with the stench of corruption. Rarely do we find an elected official that represents their true constituents’ interests, outside of an election cycle. In reality, they have two distinct groups of constituents. One that pulls the lever for them every election cycle and the other that lines their campaign coffers with hundreds of thousands of dollars during off election cycles; virtually guaranteeing their re-election. What makes this problematic is that policies, which are in the best interest of one of his/her constituent groups is not in the interest of the other. For one group, the elected official is fiercely devoted, for the other devotion is fleeting. This dovetails with leadership. A true leader cannot be indecisive when making decisions which impact 350+ million people. Decisions must be firmly grounded upon unwavering principles and values, but unfortunately, Washington D.C. is a barren wasteland when it comes to principles and values. I am unwavering in my conservative principles. Principles which are echoed by many in the 35th Congressional district. I will not bend a knee to the political elite, when elected. I will go to Washington, D.C. to conduct the business of those in TX35. SECOND AMENDMENT “[A]rms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property... Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.” ~Thomas Paine~ There isn't really too much to speak about on this subject. My personal view is that each and every American, with the exception of those who have a tendency of criminal violence, has a right to keep and carry firearms. Any attempt to bar citizens from doing so, by the government, should be looked upon as an infringement if not done so through due process of law. I do not support "Red Flag" laws and would vehemently oppose any such legislation on the national level. The CDC website quotes the report, "Priorities for Research to Reduce the Threat of Firearm-Related Violence," that states there are anywhere between 60,000 and 2.5 million defensive gun uses each year. Additionally, the CDC states there were 37,707 firearm-related deaths in 2019. This number includes suicides, and law enforcement related shootings. Any infringement upon the right to keep and bear arms, will embolden violent offenders and put the law-abiding citizen at a significant disadvantage and in harms way. I will oppose further restrictions to the second amendment and push for legislation that would make a concealed carry permit issued in one state, valid in all states; just as drivers' licenses are.[2] |
